Applications

The beginner

For beginners like me, the DelayMaster is a convenient help to learn the Naildelay faster. Beginners usually find it very difficult to throw the disc with enough spin. This means that the beginner has to learn two things at the beginning; the throw with enough spin and the Naildelay. The DelayMaster helps the beginner to learn the Naildelay without a partner (who throws). The adjustable speed makes it easy to give the disc a good, stable rotation so that success is quickly achieved. Thanks to an upper speed limit that can be set in the menu, the DelayMaster is also ideal for introducing children to freestyling.

The pro

For ambitious freestylers, the DelayMaster is an excellent training device for perfecting tricks without a partner and gaining confidence in movement sequences. Moves, rolls and catches require hundreds of repetitions before they can be done with confidence. A disc with a defined spin can be a great help here. You also have the opportunity to practise counter tricks and spinning catches until you drop ;-).

Groups – Clubs – Educational institutions

In frisbee groups or clubs, the DelayMaster is a good way to get players interested in freestyling, quickly learn the basic skills and thus increase their enjoyment of the sport. The machine opens up new perspectives for schools or sports clubs involved in frisbee sport. Groups such as the Bonn ‘Wurfgenossenschaft’, a WhatsApp group with almost 50 members who arrange to play together via the group, exist in many cities. I provide the Bonner Wurfgenossenschaft and Bonnsai, the Bonn Frisbee Sports Club, with a DelayMaster for learning, practising or simply having fun. This rotates, by arrangement, between interested Wurfgenossen and Bonnsai members.
